Being a choral professional

I have sung in choirs every year since I was four. Although I studied solo voice in high school and college, I was never encouraged to consider choral singing as a career. Today, I divide my time nearly equally between conducting and singing, and I’m committed to helping others find opportunities in a genre of music that depends on collaboration and community.
